Catalyst’s founding director Alison Arnot has held senior roles leading public relations, media relations, internal communications, events management, crisis communications and public affairs across both public and private sectors.

A multi-award winning PR professional, Alison has a strong record delivering positive profile and increased engagement for a range of individuals and organisations.
With unique practical crisis communications experience having successfully delivered Glasgow Airport’s internal and external communications from the crisis room on the day of the 2007 terror attack, she has advised at board level in sectors including rail, aviation, education, training, finance and business support.
A CIPR Fellow and invited speaker on PR and communications for the CIPR, IoIC and CASE, Alison is a CASE ‘stellar speaker’ and a top rated CIPR trainer.
Her work has been recognised with awards from the CIPR, IOIC, HEIST, and CIM. She is a CIPR Chartered Practitioner and she has an MSc in Public Relations from the University of Stirling.
